Planning Tip of the Week: Stay Cool For Summer

Photography by Anna Kuperberg - see more at www.annakuperberg.com

Backyard or farmland wedding receptions are just perfect for the summer! Hang paper lanterns from the trees. Place citronella candles everywhere! And display an antique bicycle, a wheelbarrow, a lawn mower or even a tractor, to use as a classic photo prop!

A major concern with having an outdoor wedding during the hot months is to keep your guests comfortable and refreshed. Readily fulfill thirst needs by back parking a row of old trucks directly behind the set-up bar. Fill the truck beds with ice and then an assorted selection of drinks!

Or, eliminate the cost of a bartender all together, and just park a few vintage trucks around your reception and fill each bed with an assortment of drinks. They are perfect self serve beverage stations.
